About the Program

The Chicago Opportunity ISA Fund helps Bottom Line students from the Chicago area cover the costs of earning a bachelor’s degree.

You can apply for $2,500—$25,000 in funding to help you cover

  • Tuition

  • Living Expenses

  • Books and Supplies

  • Account balances

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bottom Line student from the Chicago area

  • At least 17 years old

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident

  • Full-time status during the term for which you’re seeking funding

  • Meeting satisfactory academic progress (SAP) criteria at your school

  • Enrolled in or transferring to a bachelor’s degree program at an eligible institution (below)


Funding is available for enrollment at the following institutions:

Eastern Illinois

Elmhurst College

Illinois Institute of Technology

Illinois State University

Loyola University


North Park University

Northern Illinois University

Saint Xavier University

Univ. of Illinois at Springfield
